Venezuela: A Humanitarian Crisis That Continues to Affect Millions

For more than a decade, Venezuela has experienced one of the most significant humanitarian, economic, and migration crises in modern Latin American history. There are healthcare professionals, teachers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and workers who have left behind homes, careers, and loved ones in hopes of building a safer future.

The Venezuelan diaspora has shown remarkable resilience. Across the world, Venezuelans continue to contribute to their adopted communities while maintaining strong ties to their homeland and supporting family members who remain there.

The humanitarian challenges facing Venezuela remind us that political disagreements should never overshadow the needs of ordinary citizens. Regardless of political beliefs, every family deserves access to food, healthcare, education, employment, personal security, and the opportunity to live with dignity.
