Inauguration of Mèt Fèy Vèt & Associates Plant – Limonade

Israel Camille

Yesterday marked a major milestone for local economic development with the official inauguration of the Mèt Fèy Vèt & Associates plant in Limonade. The event brought together approximately 400 people, including unemployed individuals, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members—united around a shared vision of progress and opportunity.

This is more than just a factory opening — it is a real transformation. Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of individuals have already transitioned out of unemployment through direct job creation. Many more are now benefiting from indirect employment opportunities across sectors such as transportation, commerce, agriculture, and services. The ripple effect of this project is already expanding beyond the facility itself.

Mèt Fèy Vèt & Associates represents a powerful model of what strategic investment and committed leadership can achieve. By leveraging local resources and strengthening national production, the project contributes to building a more resilient and inclusive economy.

Today, we send a clear and strong message:

We encourage other investors, entrepreneurs, and visionaries to follow this example.

Let’s not limit these efforts to one location — let’s replicate this impact across all departments of the country. Sustainable development must reach every region, creating opportunities for all.

Investing locally is not just about business — it’s about building futures, restoring hope, and strengthening Haiti.

We extend our sincere congratulations to everyone who made this project possible: the leadership team, workers, partners, and the entire community.

From Limonade to the nation:

Yes, it is possible. Yes, we can.
